For over 5 years, we’ve consistently supported athletes and agents through every stage of the NFL Combine process—handling everything from nutrition and hospitality to mental preparation and performance. With over 20 years of experience developing our proven track record of preparing athletes to excel at the next level, our team delivers results that show up on the stopwatch, on tape, and on draft boards.
Athletes train in a focused, professional environment that mimics the demands of the NFL while receiving the personalized support and coaching they need to shine. You can trust that every detail is covered, ensuring a seamless experience and allowing you to focus fully on performance, knowing you have personalized care every step of the way.
The Game Face Training System (GFTS) aims to increase each athlete’s strength, agility, speed, and mobility while preventing overtraining and injury. The system is designed so that each athlete trains all aspects of movement and all major lifts within a microcycle. Each day includes prehabilitation, activation, power development, movement, lifting, and core training.
Position Skills Training is equally as important as Performance Training for our Combine Athletes.
Each location will have skilled position coaches for each position we have training. The position coaches’ responsibilities expand beyond just on-field training. They will also hold interview preparation sessions with our Combine Athletes in preparation for the various interviews that will be held at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. Position coaches will also mentor our athletes throughout the training program and their rookie seasons.
At GamefaceTraining, we know that our recovery is just as important as our training; Rest is one of our core pillars. Our athletes need to recover properly to train hard day in and day out. Wednesdays and Saturdays are our Recovery Days, meaning all activities are focused on athlete recovery. A typical recovery day consists of an early morning chiropractic adjustment, time with our Athletic Training team, a yoga session, a massage, wet room recovery, and some out-of-training programming. Training programming can be Wonderlic prep, interview prep, film sessions, mental fitness sessions, or NFL Life Skills sessions.
We know success isn’t just physical—it’s mental. Our team provides dedicated support to help athletes perform under pressure with confidence and focus. From one-on-one mindset coaching to strategies for managing stress and staying locked in, we prepare athletes for the demands of the Combine and beyond. We also deliver comprehensive interview readiness, equipping athletes with the tools to communicate their story, character, and professionalism. Through mock interviews and personalized coaching, we help every athlete show up prepared, authentic, and at their best when it matters most.
Fuel is one of our core values; we greatly emphasize it throughout our draft program. The Nutritionist at each location will oversee all nutrition-related activities, including meals, supplementation, and hydration. The nutritionist will facilitate the initial assessments with each athlete to collect data to go into the athlete profiles in the Athlete Management System. From there, they’ll work hand in hand with their respective Chefs and Supplement Specialists to create a full- encompassing nutrition plan for each athlete. The nutrition plans will be based on the initial assessments and the micronutrient and macronutrient data we collect from the blood analysis results.
The hub of the NFL Combine experience, Athlete Services is dedicated to clear communication and personal support. We coordinate scheduling, accommodations, transportation, hospitality, and nutrition while serving as a direct line for athletes and agents. From day-to-day details to special requests, our team is here to ensure every need is met seamlessly.
During the midpoint of Combine training, we will hold a Mock Combine. This event is a simulation of the actual NFL Scouting Combine, where the Combine Athletes will perform each test they will do at the actual combine in Indianapolis. The Mock Combine aims to gauge where the athletes are in our program to this point and where we need to focus our efforts in the coming weeks leading up to Indianapolis. With this data, we will be able to generate reports to provide to agents and the athletes so they can self-assess themselves and get a baseline of where they are compared to others in the program.

We specialize in preparing athletes for the NFL Combine by doing what most programs can’t—breaking down movement with precision and rebuilding it to be more explosive, efficient, and powerful. Backed by over 20 years of hands-on experience, we know how to unlock the full potential of each athlete’s body at the right time.
Our training prioritizes movement over lifting, focusing first on how you move, then using the weight room strategically to correct imbalances and build strength where it’s needed. DeVentri’s decades as a coach have given him the ability to spot inefficiencies in an athlete’s movement and address them by teaching better technique and developing the specific strength needed to create more fluid, efficient performance. These adjustments and this approach leads to real results—on the stopwatch, on tape, and on draft boards.
When it comes to Combine prep, the margin for error is zero. We know these drills inside and out. Our programming is timed to ensure you peak when you need to, avoid overtraining, and walk into your event at your sharpest—mentally and physically.
This isn’t theory or guesswork. It’s a proven system that we’ve developed through decades of experience and carefully refined year after year with measurable success.
